‘SHIP’ YOUTH MINISTRY – GETTYSBURG PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

The High School Ministry, ‘SHIP,’ meets at the church on Sundays from 5:30 to 7pm.
We seek to be a safe place where we will grow together in faith, friendship and fellowship with God and one another.

During the school year we have a mid-week discipleship group called “The 12” where we investigate the Bible, check in on how our week has been going and grow together in friendship.

Workcamp, a one week long summer mission trip to repair homes of low income people somewhere in the US, is the annual climax of the High School year.

‘MID-SHIP’ MIDDLE SCHOOL FELLOWSHIP – GETTYSBURG PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Sunday night 5:30-7:00; dinner, fellowship and games
Wednesday afternoons 3-4:30; small-group discussion.

One basic goal for this group is to have each child feel valued as part of the fellowship and as an individual within the church family. Another goal is to foster an attitude of respect for each other within the Mid-Ship group that allows each child to ask questions and grow spiritually.
