Afterschool 21st Century Community Learning Centers offer students a safe, supportive and fun place to grow. 

Homework Help/Tutoring, Interactive/Cooperative Activities, Positive Character Development, Academic Enrichment, Environmental Exploration, Career Development Options, and Fitness/Healthy Lifestyle Activities

Students participate with visiting musicians, artists, local craftsmen, and community partners!

ADAMS COUNTY 4-H CLUBS & OVERNIGHT CAMP

Animal Clubs
A 4-H animal club is a club that focuses solely on one specific animal instead of projects. Members without animals are still able to participate in an animal club by completing an animal-less project.  Includes: Beef Club, Dairy Beef/Dairy Club, Goat Club, Adams County Horse Club, Poultry Club, Rabbit Club, Sheep Club, Swine Club

Community Clubs do not focus on one specific project, they offer several different projects members can choose from. There is something for everyone.

CUB SCOUTS, BSA SCOUTS & VENTURING – BATTLEFIELD DISTRICT, NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM COUNCIL, BSA

Cub Scout Packs, grade K-5

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

BSA Scouts, youth 11-17

Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for youth in the fifth grade through high school. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout. NOTE: Beginning in February 2019, this program is transitioning to include both young men and young women.

Venturing – Co-ed 14-20

Explore passions, make friends, discover the world. You’re always looking for an adventure. Rappelling a cliff. Perfecting your shot. Designing a robot. Kayaking into the sunset. Exploring your faith. Volunteering at an animal shelter. The choice is yours!  Venturing is youth-led and youth-inspired. You’ll acquire life skills and gain experiences while having a blast.

SUMMER CAMPS are available for Cubs and BSA Scouts.  Financial assistance available.

INDOOR CO-ED RECREATIONAL SOCCER – SOUTH HANOVER YMCA

Ages 2-12.
Games focus on fun and understanding the basics of soccer.
Players will receive jerseys as part of the season cost.

FUTSOL CLINIC – SOUTH HANOVER YMCA

Develop futsol skills through drills and technical training.
Clinic led by Edgar, a professional soccer player with years of technical skills training development.
Technical skills can be translated to outdoor soccer.
Drills emphasize shooting, passing, dribbling, 1v1 moves and move in a fast paced and fun format.
Players MUST wear flat soled shoes-no cleats.
