Summer 5-Day Back Yard Bible Clubs offered.

Mission is to 1) Reach lost children with the Gospel, 2) Disciple Christian children in their walk with the Lord, 3) Teach others to do the same. We are located in Adams County. Affiliated with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pennsylvania.

CFYCD AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM SITES

Free K-12 afterschool programming at school!
Monday-Thursday, 3 hours/day beginning at last bell.

Reinforce school day lessons, homework help, tutoring, and academic enrichment activities. We provide safe and supportive environments where children can experience fun, hands-on learning. Each site offers: STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math); nutrition and fitness; positive behavior reinforcement, and more.

Students participate with visiting musicians, artists, local craftsmen, and community partners!

ADAMS COUNTY 4-H CLUBS & OVERNIGHT CAMP

Animal Clubs
A 4-H animal club is a club that focuses solely on one specific animal instead of projects. Members without animals are still able to participate in an animal club by completing an animal-less project.  Includes: Beef Club, Dairy Beef/Dairy Club, Goat Club, Adams County Horse Club, Poultry Club, Rabbit Club, Sheep Club, Swine Club

Community Clubs
Community Clubs do not focus on one specific project, they offer several different projects members can choose from. There is something for everyone.

CUB SCOUTS, BSA SCOUTS & VENTURING – BATTLEFIELD DISTRICT, NEW BIRTH OF FREEDOM COUNCIL, BSA

Cub Scout Packs, grade K-5

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family.  In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.

BSA Scouts, youth 11-17

Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for youth in the fifth grade through high school. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout. NOTE: Beginning in February 2019, this program is transitioning to include both young men and young women.

Venturing – Co-ed 14-20

Explore passions, make friends, discover the world. You’re always looking for an adventure. Rappelling a cliff. Perfecting your shot. Designing a robot. Kayaking into the sunset. Exploring your faith. Volunteering at an animal shelter. The choice is yours!  Venturing is youth-led and youth-inspired. You’ll acquire life skills and gain experiences while having a blast.

SUMMER CAMPS are available for Cubs and BSA Scouts.  Financial assistance available.

‘DISCOVERY’ BEFORE & AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS – LASD, UASD &CVSD ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS – HANOVER YMCA

Elementary schools in Conewago Valley SD, Littlestown SD & Upper Adams SD are the Adams County sites for the Hanover YMCA ‘Discovery’ programs.

BEFORE SCHOOL CHILD CARE (ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS)
Students enjoy sports, games, arts & crafts, gym play, and breakfast daily. Before Care is extended 1 or 2 hours on snow delay days.

$68/Week full time (4-5 days/week)

AFTER SCHOOL CHILD CARE (ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS)
Children enjoy social, educational, and recreational opportunities. Well-trained child care professionals lead group games, sports, arts & crafts, music, homework assistance and more. The YMCA instills the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith.
Daily snack is provided.

INDOOR CO-ED RECREATIONAL SOCCER – SOUTH HANOVER YMCA

Ages 2-12.
Games focus on fun and understanding the basics of soccer.
Players will receive jerseys as part of the season cost.

Divisions:
U4 – 2 & 3 Year Olds
U6 – 4 & 5 Year Olds
U8 – 6 & 7 Year Olds
U10 – 8 & 9 Year Olds
U12 – 10 & 11 Year Olds

Age divisions are based on the player’s birth year. Players may “play up” in an older division.
